Octavia Chambliss is a landscape designer with over 20 years of experience in the Seattle area.
She is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers and is certified as a Master Gardener by the Washington State Extension Program.
Octavia specializes in designs, renovations, and installations of commercial and residential gardens. She won the Sunset Magazine Design Award at the 2007 Northwest Flower and Garden Show (NWFGS). In 2009 she won the NWFGS Design Award for Best Small Design Space. Her own vegetable garden was featured in the May 2009 Sunset Magazine and is on the Bainbridge in Bloom 2010 garden tour.
Octavia holds a law degree from the University of Tennessee, a BA from University of North Carolina, and a Horticulture Certificate from Edmonds Community College. She lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband, Jon, and has two grown children. When she isn't gardening she is reading, traveling, kayaking, hiking, or biking.
